On Friday I became officially unemployed for the first time since I was 15 years old. This is by choice, I have decided to take a break from working to get my health better. Whilst I am off I plan to study and do more work for mt charity. This decision didn’t come lightly as there were many tears from me and conversations with my husbands and family. My husband see’s this as a gift from him to me that I can take time off to do the things I want. I am an extremely lucky lady to have found him ❤
My main plans are to improve my fatigue by working hard on pacing and then taking the time to exercise gently each day. Doing physio, swimming, walking the dog and trying to walk her further each week, pilates and more. The idea is to strengthen up my muscles to help support the joints. This way I should have less subluxations and in turn less pain. That’s the plan anyway!
In terms of education, I already have plans to do an advanced autism course which I can start now and also more advanced studying of social media. I would like to be able to combine the two to support more people in the world that need help and advice. My plan also consists of trying to get published on the mighty and also doing more for the Charity I volunteer for currently. I am in charge of their social media and run a monthly support group but would like to do more. My main aim in life is to be able to use my social media experience to work from home. So when we buy our narrowboat I can work from their on the move 🙂
I did want to apologise for the lack of posts over the last few weeks, I have had a bad costochondritis flare up and a huge range of emotions from finishing work=one very tired bendy lady. My rib pain is now subsiding and breathing is a lot easier now so I will be back on full form!
I have to say that I was a little disappointment with my work. Although as a CareGiver I work independently and do not see the office staff much, I have built good relationships with all of them over the phone. I didn’t receive so much as a goodbye or phone call. All my clients were lovely and said they would miss me. One even gave me a card and box of chocolates! Such is life I suppose. They are busy and may not have realised it was my last day, just would have been nice to have been remembered in some way.
Anyway, I plan on my next blog post coming out either Wednesday or Thursday this week so do keep an eye out for me 🙂 The next blog posts subject is in regards to my fears as the condition get’s worse or as I get older.
Stay tuned lovelies and I will catch you all soon
