I hope this blog finds you well? Today my husband is back at work after a great week off. I am still off work for another week so the building work can continue. My lovely mum brought lunch round for us in the form of KFC. Very naughty but very yummy! Thanks mumma ❤
My job of the day was to get our paperwork in order, which I managed to organise just over half of it. I was very impressed with myself. The rule is, when the draws are full we have to sort it out. However the draws were full a little while ago lol! Also as we are planning on moving into a narrowboat so we need make sure we have the bear minimum.
After A LOT of banging coming from upstairs, we have the tiling done, floor down so we are getting there! It’s looking more like a bathroom than a building site at least.
As my hubby was back at work today, I thought it would be nice for him to come home to dinner being ready. We had no meat out and we need to go shopping, so I had a rummage in the cupboards and threw together a tuna pasta bake. I have taken some pictures if some of the adaptive kitchen items I use to help with cooking. Before purchasing the adaptive knives, I used to have to buy everything pre-cut. The adaptive knives have saved my hands and enables me to cook from scratch again, which I absolutely enjoy. I believe my ‘green thing’ came from lakeland. A little gem of a buy as it helps with opening cans, tins and bottles. Lastly, you can see my electric can opener which is a little on the blink, it’s just about hanging in there.
I would love to see what adaptive equipment you use in the kitchen. Got anymore ideas for me?
